Biography

Joining CVHS as a development associate with OSU Foundation in 2006, Worrell transitioned to Oklahoma State employment serving CVHS in 2009. Cultivating a vital CVHS alumni constituency for engagement is my focus. The continuum of relationship building begins with an accepted CVHS student and extends throughout their lifetimes as alumni.

A daughter of immigrants from Scotland and native Californian, Worrell is self-employed as a farmer and currently grows organic barley on 240 acres on the Central Coast. Prior to farming alfalfa and barley, she managed Santa Barbara Polo & Racquet Club business operations and a 200 unit condominium complex.

Since joining CVHS in 2006, Worrell has acquired private funding for the theriogenology lab renovation and Kirkpatrick Foundation nuclear med equipment grant; issued challenges for class giving, established alumni memorials and alumni funds for clinical sciences and student scholarships, realigned relationships for the Class of '63 distinguished lectureship, closed planned gifts/endowments for the Cohn Shelter Facility, introduced key donors to CVHS and captured matching funds from the Boone Pickens PLSM matching gift opportunity for several pre-existing CVHS endowed class scholarships.

Bleeding orange as a single mother of six, four have graduated from OSU, one from Cal-Poly SLO; and one serves as Sommelier in Tulsa.
